Hello, I'm James. I've had this myspace for about 18 months now - some of you I've said hello to, and some of you I've neglected slightly. I've tried my best so sorry if we haven't spoken yet! Come and say hello though!
I play the guitar a bit. A while back, I got a bit bored with playing other peoples music. I figured I could do this 'musician' thing. How hard could it be?
Turns out it's not that easy to be honest. Anyway, to cut a long story short, this myspace contains the songs that I wrote while I was discovering how hard it actually is. Plus some new stuff that I put up as and when it gets recorded.
Ah yes, the recording side of things.... Thing is, as of now, April '07, most of my friends and family don't know about this site. I'm a bit shy about this sort of thing. Possibly not the best move, getting a myspace, I hear you say... You're probably right. It was the easiest way to get some feedback and opinions though so its a necessary evil unfortunately! I do have another myspace actually, but only two of my friends on here know where it is so good luck with that one!
Where was I? The recording. Problem is, one of the people who doesn't know about this is the girlfriend. This means that songs and lyrics only get recorded when she's not around. Logistically, this is a pain in the arse! I guess this is just me saying don't expect updates to arrive too regularly! I'll do my best though.
What else was I going to say? Ah yes, any feedback would be brilliant, don't mind constructive criticism at all. In fact, I appreciate it if anyone at all takes the time out to listen. I've got another profile at purevolume ( purevolume ). My ultimate aim is to have eight different tracks up, spread over both sites. However for the time being there's six tracks up. Feel free to check this account out too!
