About Me

I remember once imagining what my life would be like, what I'd be like. I pictured having all these qualities, strong positive qualities that people could pick up on from across the room. But as time passed, few ever became any qualities that I actually had. And all the possibilities I faced and the sorts of people I could be, all of them got reduced every year to fewer and fewer. Until finally they got reduced to one, to who I am. And that's who I am, Champagne Supernova! (quoted from The Weather Man)From "mon petit lukum" :)Oh princess Merih You drinking raki Makes me so thirsty Jealous with envyWhen you shop in malls Then eating meatballs Wearing your nice shawl Seeming cute and drole I created my profile with Myspace Layouts+ Brand new Aereogramme song; Barriers and its truly fascinating video. And this is just a tiny little piece of treat from the upcoming album. Love it sooo bad!mspmb allowScriptAccess="never" allowNetworking="internal" enableJSURL="false" enableHREF="false" saveEmbedTags="true" enableJavaScript="false" allowScriptAccess="never" allowNetworking="internal" quality="high" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" wmode="transparent"

Movies:

I am afraid this space is not enough for me to talk about movies :) I don't even know how many fav movies do I have. Hmm... Generally, I am into indies but I do love to see any kind of movies. Cos I think even it is a crap, there is at least one point you can get from a movie and it would help to improve yourself and your pictural taste. I love confusing films that make you want to see it again and again and make you think of the production for days, maybe years. I adore Charlie Kaufman's genius and all his works are on the top of my list. Especially Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind! All David Lynch's filmography (including Erasurehead :)) are other favs of mine with Kubrick's (Full Metal Jacket and The Clockwork Orange are having priority BTW). And David Lean's stuff! I wish I could see his whole filmography including his earliest works.. I have a thing for three DAVIDs I think : Lean - Lynch - Fincher! :) Rumble Fish is a LEGEND! Shame on you if you haven't seen this one! Nuff said I say! Anything by Wim Wenders (Paris,Texas-Oh dear!), Apocalypse Now, The Battleship Potemkin, The Third Man, 24 Hours Party People (and anything by Witerbottom- got hooked by The Cock and the Bull Story btw), Fight Club (also The Game and Seven by Fincher),Amélie, Garden State, Me and You and Everyone We Know (a must to see), Intermission (Love anything concerning Cillian Murphy), Forest Gump, Stealing beauty, Monty Python, The Great Dictator, Very Long Engagement, Goodbye Lenin, Les Invasions Barbares, Before Sunset + Before Sunrise (can't think one without other), Tarantino's whole filmography as both director and writer, Edward Scissorhands (and all Tim Burton films), Hawks, Wilbur Wants To Kill Himself, Ladri di Biciclette (and most of that Italian neo-realism stuff), Trainspotting (also Danny Boyle before The Beach and after The Beach lol), Moulin Rouge, Star Wars (both triology), Lord of the Rings (triology), Taxi Driver (also Scorsese's works until he started working with di Caprio), Eralier Spielberg films, Leon, Amores Peros, I Heart Huckabees,The Squid and The Whale, Millions, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Requiem for a Dream, Love Actually (as this is not an ordinary romantic-comedy), Brokeback Mountain,The Road to Guantanamo (Winterbottom is a true genius), ELLING,.....................etc. TO BE CONTINUED... :)

Television:

Television is such a crap unless it shows Seinfeld and Scrubs :)And also TV can be bearable when different documentaries, The OC, Malcolm In the Middle and sometimes VH1 are on. Oh, I used to like Friends as well... and CouplingUK of course :)
