what's the point of painting

well over a month later I can say oils are too messy to deal with. My carpet now has paint stains and stinks of turp fumes like some warehouse. I guess acrylic is the option, cheap platic acrylic.

painting

So I'm going to start painting again but can't decide whether to use acrylics or oils. I'm leaning towards cheesey plastic acrylics because it's cheaper and simpler. But you can't do Gerhardt Richter ...
