Dirty Princess Productions are a songwriting & production team based in Bristol, UK. The team was founded by Ettan Bazil and Alfie Cole in May 2005.
Dirty Princess develop new artists, handling all elements of production from writing and producing the album to photo shoots, video, websites & MySpace. We then source labels and broker deals on behalf of our artists.
In addition, we also handle external production projects, write with other writers, producers, artists and teams, and spend the rest of our time placing our existing catalogue of Rock, Pop, RnB, Dance and AC songs.
Company History
The first stepping stone for Dirty Princess was signing a two song publishing agreement with Music Copyright Solutions in October 2005. From this we went on to secure other agreements in 2006 with SHED Publishing, RDSD Publishing, Sexy Records, Blue Zoo Music and Big World Publishing.
In 2006 we placed numerous songs, co-wrote with name producers such as Jason Nevins & Jody Wisternoff, and concentrated on expanding our catalogue of material.
In March 2007, we signed an exclusive deal with MCS Music Publishing - to develop new talent signed to their rosta. We also secured external investment, and joined with Nick Dixon & Anton Mullan, expanding the Dirty Princess team and widening our net around the UK market.
In May 2007 we reached No. 24 in the South African Radio Charts with "If you weren't there" - Redd Angel Allstars, which was both written and produced by Dirty Princess, and featured Dirty Princess artist Katie Salt alongside Pop Idol finalist Tarryn Lamb.
In August 2007, we signed Tom Pepper to our books and will be preparing him for the industry over the next 12 months.
Our Co-write with Jody Wisternoff (Way out West), "Starstrings" was released in November on Dirty Soul, and is also featured on GU Mixed:2 - Global Underground which is available in all major record stores now.
