Katie has been working with writing & production team, Dirty Princess for the last 2 years, building her album which blends rock/pop with her own acoustic flavour. The result is an outstandingly diverse combination of sound which draws on Katie’s naturally sweet vocal ability and killer rock/pop hooks.
After studying performing arts in college and discovering her passion for music, Katie went onto perform in many theatrical productions, where she was able to hone her vocal and performing skills. At the age of eighteen, Katie headlined Redd Angel Allstars release, “If you weren’t there†with South African Pop Idol finalist, Tarryn Lamb which reached the top 30 in South African radio charts. 2007 looks to be a year of great success for Katie as she finishes her album and looks to the future.
In addition to working on her own album, Katie has also performed lead vocals for many Dirty Princess tracks including the “Jason Nevins†project, performing vocals for his productions.
