Derek aka kaom has been arsing around making music for many years now. My musical interest reads like a typical history (read: cliche) of anyone actively involved with the UK dance scene:
80s - into hip hop, funk and electro
Late 80s - acid / house
90-92 - hardcore
92 - techno (detroit)
94 to present - D&B
97 to present - techy house
2000 to present - downtempo
And I still love all the above (and more). But now am writing mainly tech house and downtempo grooves.
