About Me

The Malkovich project was born in 2004 when Marcello (one of the most charismatic bass players of Milan and Lombardia) got into the movement, joining Matteo, guitar, Fabione, drums, and Colle, voice.Malkovich soon finds a new sound, made up of different influences from the rock ’n’ roll of the 70s to the modern and revolutionary music of bands like Primus and System of a Down.Summer 2004: a 10-day tour in Spain and in the UK is the perfect conclusion of a 6 months’ work.Once back to Italy, the band makes two great gigs at Rolling Stone with two of the most important Italian underground bands: Linea 77 and K-Again.In september 2005 Malkovich has the great honour to play on the last day of the "Union national Festival" at Mazda Palace.Summer 2006: Malkovich opens the 12th edition of "Mama Ama Festival - Milano ’06". Enthusiastic reviews on www.lineamusica.it for the Ep "Volume Zero".In January 2007 Malkovich releases its first Ep called "Volume Zero", produced by Malkovich and Filippo Andreozzi, former guitarist and producer of K-Again.Right now Malkovich and Filippo Andreozzi are working on new songs and the next stunning Lp, probably called "Ludico idioma italico", will be released by next summer.
