Plaguewielder was idealized around the summer of 2003, but it wasn't until the spring of 2006 until the first album was recorded. Sole member Wargoat wrote some songs summer 2003, using the help of two other guys who would soon be kicked out due to amateur skills and deceitful treachery. Two demos were put out, "From the Stars to Oblivion" in 2003 and "Beholding the Plague" in 2004. One of the ex-members went so far as to steal riffs and use them for his own music, which was needless to say, vastly inferior in all ways to Plaguewielder. After these two douchebags were fired, these two demos were discarded, feeling that the music was not up to his vision of what Plaguewielder should be. Only 20 or so copies were ever made of these two early demos. They were both self released and both were sold out in a very quick time, so finding one will be impossible. Hell, maybe they'll end up on egay one day going for 300 bucks a pop ha! Around this time, the project was old school Black Metal in the vein of Darkthrone, Ildjarn, early Mayhem etc, but soon after felt that this had been done already too much and wanted to bring a different style of BM to the forefront. Thus other musical influences were brought in to the picture, changing the direction of the project forever.
Come summer 2006 and the first EP was completed and self released. Entitled "From The Stars In My Gallows," this album is the first step towards the future of the project. Combining harsh Black Metal with the aggressiveness and furiocity of old school raw Thrash, the album will surely leave its mark on the scene, in due time that is. This release was only limited to around 30 or so copies, due to budget constraints and were quickly sold out within a few weeks time, after being given to close friends, zines and contacts all around the world. You can hear two of the songs from this EP on the band page here, namely Pest and Swords Raised High. After some months writing new material, Wargoat entered the studio again to record a few new demos. These were completed very quickly and have been sent to various labels from all over the world, with the intention of finding a decent label to release the debut full length record, which deserves to have a proper distribution backed by a solid label which understands the concepts of this form of extreme metal music.
Plaguewielder is for the darkest parts of the human mind. The scars of existence. The beast within us all. I do not care whether you like or dislike my creations, because the more you hate me, the more I feel inspired to continue. And on the final day of wraith, the beast shall swallow the righteous and devour the sheep flock...

As far as I know, neither of these were ever released.
Plaguewielder is dead. I have decided to end this project and focus 100% on my other Black Metal band Frost Throne. I have come to this decision for a few different reasons, but the main one is that I wish to use all my ideas for Frost Throne and not have to split them up into two seperate entities. Another is the fact that there just doesn't seem to be any interest in Plaguewielder, save for a few people. But the ones who did show any interest are eternally hailed and their support was appreciated. The songs I have already recorded and ones that are written but not recorded will be used for Frost Throne. Many hails and thanks to Christophe Szpajdel for the killer logo. Sorry it drifted into obscurity bro, but your time and dedication will always be of great value to me. Hails to my war brothers in Black Winter Holocaust, you'll soon make your mark in the underground. A big hail to the few people who listened to my songs, you're support will never be forgotten. Darkest hails to all my brothers in Frost Throne, our crimes will be legendary. Hail to Quorthon of Bathory and Euronymous of the old Mayhem for inspiring me to play Black Metal, neither of you will ever be forgotten. Hails to Fenriz and Nocturno Culto of Darkthrone, your attitude and conviction is sorely lacking in most so called Black Metal bands of today. A big hail to Hellhammer of Mayhem, your advice has greatly improved my abilities. Thanks to all serious people who understand this art and who do not screw over small time bands just trying to get a start. To the true underground warriors, keep fighting and never let the bastards bring you down!
