Owner, Theresa C. Aldao captured the taste of entertainment from her elite performing arts high school, The Academy of Performing and Visual Arts, Dance Major, Music Minor (Chicago, Ill.1987) As a graduate, and while pursuing the business aspect of the music industry, Ms. Aldao soon found herself promoting private metal theme parties (M.W.R. 1991 to 1995.)
In 1995, Strictly Heavy Management was established with its first band, Boixos Nois of Buenos Aires Argentina. Boixos Nois is still spinning to this day as the DJ's of Baltimore's 98 Rock choice segment teasers. Incidentally, Boixos Nois was an International project, and the beginning of our work with South American Metal Bands. Within a few years, SHM acquired two (2) other metal bands from abroad, Abaxial and Calibre also of Argentina South America, plus numerous heavymetal promotional and management projects locally.
SHM has provided incidental booking and exclusive personal management services to rock/metal artist since 1995, Boixos Nois, Abaxial, Calibre of Argentina; from USA; Media of Maryland, Thicker Than Water of Virginia, EdenPark of Pennsylvania. Deceivers of Brazil, Sony Canada Artist Tammy Raybould of Ottawa, Time Warner Recording Artist Voodoomen of Argentina (Boca Spirit,)Las Vegas Thrash band & JCM Recording Artist Avenger of Blood, Turkey Vulture Records & Wisconsin's Punk/Hardcore band New Society of Anarchist, Grenouer from Russia, Requiem Laus of Portugal, Dead Jesus and Georgian Skull of Canada, Century Media's Recording Artist Krisiun of Brazil.
SHM has achieved: International Commercial Radio Airplay and Primetime Interviews; US National Commercial Radio Segment Teasers, and advertising; US College Airplay and Interviews regionally; International Music Television Prime Time Interview (Much Music) and US National Local Television (Fox Network), teaser segments, interviews, and showcases;
Ms. Aldao is often asked to publicly speak, and has participated as an Instructor on music panels Millennium Music Conf., Atlantis Music Conf., Independent Music Conf., Mid-Atlantic Music Conference.
