I'd like to meet:
Morrissey, Bono, Sting, heck, let's just say any cool 80's indie/new wave rocker. Audrey Hepburn, or any 50's movie starlet. I have no interest in politics so you won't find me wanting to meet the president. Sorry.
Dig this vintage 1948 SEWING tutorial
It's quite long but gee, just swell!

Music:
I'm stuck in the 80's and lovin' it. The Police, The Cure, Tears for Fears, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Erasure, Depeche Mode, Morrissey, The Smiths, The B-52's, Crowded House, The Bolshoi, U2, Adam and the Ants, XTC, The Jam, The Clash, Blur, Frente, Kajagoogoo (go on, laugh but I adore them), Duran Duran, Bow Wow Wow. Also, Coldplay, Keane, Space, The Divine Comedy, Stereophonics, The Rosebuds, Travis, The Gorillaz, Jamiroquai, Rathkeltair, Seven Nations, Spiderbaby, Jamski Luv, Trevor Tanner
Movies:
Give me a good psycho thriller with more story line than blood and gore and I'm happy, indie films, classic comedies, 50's movies, Dancer in the Dark, Moulin Rouge, A Christmas Story, Napoleon Dynamite, Seven, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Austin Powers, the whole John Hughes 80s kabang, and The Grudge had parts that made me hit myself when I jumped.
Television:
I watch more than I care to admit. The Office (british or americanized), Coupling, Scrubs, Lost, ER, Medical Incredible, Discovery Health, Bravo, IFC, E!, trashy TV like Flavor of Love, Rock of Love, & The Pick-Up Artist. Somebody's gotta watch 'em.
Books:
No time to read anymore but love John Irving, Richard Laymon, the older Stephen King stuff, fashion books featuring 50's & 60's couture, and anything that once you pick it up, you can't put it down. Because usually if I DO start a book, I'll read it all night til I'm done. Go Speed Reader, Go.
Heroes:
Clever songwriters, interesting story tellers and anyone who can tell a good joke without messing up the punchline? And Superman, of course...
