The Mystery Artist

The Mystery Artist started as an ever-changing, obscure and yet not completely defined composition of a single minded individual called Miguel Lopo. It has evolved so far into what you can see and hear in this page. A four piece eclectic band in taste and style. The four of us have been playing together since July 2006 and although the songs existed before the other three members joined this experience each was capable to add its personal flavour and touch to the songs.The end result is the 9 song EP called Funny Little Town recorded over three intensive days at Quarta Vaga Produções studio in Vila Nova de Gaia – Portugal. Eight original songs plus a Cure cover: “A Forest”, from which you can hear four examples in this page. And thus so far we stay… New songs are on the verge of coming out soon!!!
