O projecto Malcontent nasceu no final de 2006 e reflecte as mais diversas influências dos seus elementos com particular incidência na cena "indie".
Apesar de se assumirem como banda de guitarras, os Malcontent não abdicam de um complemento electrónico, o que confere ao projecto uma sonoridade diversificada.
Desde há vários meses em estúdio para a gravação de demos, os Malcontent apresentam agora o tema promocional "Aggressive".
Apesar da inexistência de qualquer contrato discográfico, prevê-se, a médio-prazo, a edição do álbum de estreia…--------------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------Malcontent began striking their first chords at the end of 2006, and their sound invariably reflects an eclectic mix of tastes, owed to its band members diversified journey in musical realms, however, they share a common ground which pertains to the Indie music scene.
Dispite the assumption they are a guitar orientated band, they have not shyed away from experimenting and relying on an electro component, which allows them to meander though more diversified musical textures, which they consider more appealing to their liking as music fans themselves.
After a period of hibernation in their own studio, recording demos, and tayloring their sound, Malcontent unveil their first promocional feature track "Aggressive", and, albeit not being signed to any label yet, they are not shy to go the extra mile, thus, an official recording is expected soon.
