About Me

The Tripwire.com was formed over seven years ago with the intention of providing an online community of "industry" tastemakers with the tools and services they needed to stay up on the cutting edge artists that shape the broader spectrum of the music world as we know it. We always aimed to support and highlight music for those in the industry that "genuinely care" and love music as much as we do. Our goal was simply to turn people on to new artists and document all that was happening in the greater music world, something much needed in an industry dominated by intensely jaded people. That said, we no longer feel that we need to live behind closed walls (or, more appropriately, velvet ropes). We are proud to now open our doors and focus on sharing music with everyone.Click here to visit The Tripwire.
