I always knew that I came from another language...

About Me

Me? I'm just a poet. Nothing more.
I think that I may have been born in the wrong era. I really don't want to be part of a virtual, soulless generation who have never taken a chance in their couch-ridden lives. "The legions of the un-jazzed," to quote the great Phil Edwards. Ambiguity makes me ill. I don't want to get in touch with some mythical feminine side, either. Appreciating grace, beauty and emotion is not the exclusive right of females. I will never live in yesterday, and I have no desire to ache for some brighter future. Today is just fine. I can be happy in the here and now, even if the here and now sucks.
I don't believe that I have been put on this planet to take. Giving is the essence of life. I have two great, long-term friends in my life and I have almost died with both of them. More than once. Sometimes on the same day. I give to my friends until I have nothing left to give. Loyalty isn't a fad: it's an oath. Honor defines you, not the other way around. Compassion is irrefutable evidence of strength. When everything else is gone, when the sound and fury are a distant memory, and the possessions and bullshit we collect along this crooked journey have slowly rusted away, all that remains is the love we gave and and the love we received. Everything else is meaningless.

Elemental

by Larry Kuechlin

Coming November 2008

I'd like to meet:

If you want to write, if you want to create, you must be the most sublime fool that God ever turned out and sent rambling. You must write every single day of your life. You must read dreadful dumb books and glorious books, and let them wrestle in beautiful fights inside your head, vulgar one moment, brilliant the next. You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads. I wish you a wrestling match with your Creative Muse that will last a lifetime. I wish craziness and foolishness and madness upon you. May you live with hysteria, and out of it make fine stories — science fiction or otherwise. Which finally means, may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.

Ray Bradbury.

I want to meet people who love to laugh and have the capacity for unconditional love.
