Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, but rather learning to dance in the rain. ♥

About Me

I love the outdoors, and doing things in it. Walking, running, biking and playing sports. Travel has been a wonderful part of my life and has given me so many wonderful friends. I write music and poetry. I love music and the power it has over me. I sing and play the piano and guitar. Theatre (stage plays).. a favorite passtime. Things...that I LOVE: Most of all my family and friends, I really love TO MAKE PEOPLE LAUGH, fog, rain, picnics, and the smell of the grass after a storm. Sparetime means to sit by the fire and do nothing, or share a story while on a long car drive....or just to go for a walk on a rainy day. I show compassion, share kindness, and I see things how they are! I am passionate about life and people that matter to me! I'll help out anyone who needs my help. I care and love deeply, all my friends & family, and if that's you well, I love you too! xoxo I'm up early, stay up late & live for the fun in between.

My Interests

I love to play sports and to watch sports! I love the arts... THEATRE POETRY MUSIC DANCEI love to travel, and I hope to continue to do so.I have to have music in my day, always somewhere I will have music playing. I really like to create...whether it is art, music, food, poetry, or garden...it lets me be ME!

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who will make me smile and laugh!

Music:

I love so much old and new and different styles. From Blue October, Collective Soul, Simple Plan, Bon Jovi, INXS, ROCKSTAR SUPERNOVA, Keith Urban, U2, Neil Diamond, Journey, Christina Aguleira, Silverlode, The Baby's, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, CCR, Fall Out Boys, Doug and the Slugs, Rod Stewart, Whitesnake, Fleetwood Mac, Clay AIken, Micheal Buble, Sarah Maclaughlin, Celine Dion, Audioslave, Elton John, Josh Groban, Trooper, Kalan Porter, Almost every musical soundtrack...especially Phantom, and Les Miserable, and my childhood best friend Vicki ALynn....

Movies:

Favorites...hmm: Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind, Dead Poets Society, Ghost, A Knights Tale, Lady Hawke, Excalibur, Bird Cage, Mickey Blue Eyes, 50 First Dates, Remo Williams, Titanic, Shakespeare In Love...and so many more! The last Rocky film, Casino Royale. Dances With Wolves, The Last Samurai, Freedom Writers, I am Sam.

Television:

Favorite all time show now showing is LOST....I'm hooked. Prison Break... Another tv show that is no longer playing that I loved was Beauty and The Beast. It had Ron Pearlman reciting poetry to Linda Hamilton every episode that pretty much melted my heart. xox sigh. I am regular of late night comedy, so I watch all the late night talk shows faithfully. Letterman, Jon Stewart, Leno, Ferguson, Conan...(don't sleep much!) My secret confession is I love the music reality shows ALL OF THEM. I think they are great and I never miss. I'm a fan of all the winners too so its all good.

Books:

I love to read POETRY, any and all kinds, its just me. James Patterson, great read(esp, Big Bad Wolf!). I also enjoy biographies...like Wayne Gretzky, Mohammed Ali, Princess Diana, Oprah, Sidney Poitier, Micheal J. Fox, etc. I also love to read the "No Way" kind of books like OJ Simpson. One of my favorite books is the Thornbirds.

Heroes:

Terry Fox, Ghandi, Mother Theresa, Princess Diana, My mom. The word hero is so misused! Anyone CAN be a hero, but a true hero is someone who does something truely sacrificial, something courageous, without asking for fame or glory.
