My name is MARQUE WALKER. I am a producer, NOT a band so all of this music "Keybeeetsss" (u hear dat)...; I'm in Memphis, Tn, born & raised, but thanks to my God giving talent, I have been all over the world doing what I do. I am also a keyboardist as well as a producer so that's allowed me to play with as well as produced many different artists.
I started playing instruments @ the age of 3 & I got into the music business @ the age of 20. I did a cd when I was 15-17 & it came out when I was 19; the name of this cd IS "Marque Just Sittin In". This was in 1996 & it is still selling as of today. It's on Itunes as well as CDbaby. It's a jazz/easy listening/baby making cd so please patronize that piece....I started producing seriously, but not, when I was 20.(long story as to y I say "but not") I worked for a company called SuaveHouz which was on Universal @ the time; It was the Label that then had 8-Ball & MJG + many more artists; it was da bizness @ that time & it allowed me to do remixes for Brian McKnight, Toni Braxton, work with Debelah Morgan, Jam master J, Ice Cube, Too Short, Dj Rodgers, Rodney Ellis, of course Ball & G, & many more............I've done remixes also for Donell Jones (U Know That I Luv U), Jagged Edge with Carlos Broady,(Heaven), Beyonce'(Naughty Girl) & many more; worked w/Angie Stone, Isaac Hayes, The Temprees(This is Dedicated to the 1 I Love) Kim Burrell, Richard Smallwood, Donald Hayes, Doramus, Eric Cire, Elvis Williams, Needlz, Lloyd Barry, Phillip Lassiter, Kool & the Gang "THE HITS RELOADED" which had artist like BLUE & LI'KIM, ATOMIC KITTEN, JAMIROQUIA, LIBERTY X, ANGIE STONE, REDMAN BLUE CANTRELL, SEAN PAUL, NATURAL, & EVEN BLACKSTREET:IT WAS/IS A MAJOR HIT OVER SEAS; I've co-produced with Antonio Dixon from Underdawg Ent. as well as Tina & Erica(MaryMary) for the artist Ahnjel who is with the traveling play "LION KING", The Legendary Dan Cleary,(ONLY REAL PRODUCERS NOT BEAT MAKES WILL KNOW HIM), MARK TAYLOR, DAN WEATHERSPOON OF SPOONFED PROD.,JAMES WADDELL, SANCHEZ HARLEY,=THE SAME APPLIES FOR THESE GUYS; ONLY REAL PRODUCERS KNOW OF THEM; I HAD THE HONOR TO PROD. I am currently producing many gospel records as well as some major r&b records; I RECEIVED A **DOVE AWARD** NOMINATION FOR **PRODUCER OF THE YEAR** 2006; didn't win but it's bigger than winning for me; I make music, NOT beats so I can take my music anywhere......."U HEAR DAT".As for me, I'm a spontaneous person due to the fact that I never know what the next day is gonna be like; one minute i'm here & the next i'm there; I'm kool ON'EIM & can adjust to whateva i'm around; & I love "Prada"; U C ME; U C PRADA ON'EIM...................Anyway; It is what it is.............."I SAID DID U HEAR DAT"................ps.
