Welcome to SAMBALANCO , fresh and solid dj sessions, and more importantly, the crew behind them. Probably one of Londons best?!
Now well into their fourth year, the Sambalanco residents (Dave Blackgrove, Riley & Simon Alvaro) have earned a solid reputation for their diverse and quality music policy. They’ve gained an equally good rep for the sessions they’ve built around that.
Sambalanco currently drop regular sessions at The South London Pacific in Kennington and Camberwells' Funky Munky (running from the upstart in 2004). On the side they hold a low key Friday session at Liquorish in Dulwich as well as 'nuff guest slots and outer London appearances.
From all sides, they’ve been pushing quality music taken from a global funk spectrum. From the Jazz scene to the Dance world these guys hold there own.
The basis of Sambalanco is Good Fresh Music, People Together and Diversity. Simple and Important stuff!
