A classic pianist, bassist, songwriter and founder of Os Mutantes, formed in 1966 in São Paulo, with his brother Sergio Dias and Rita Lee. Arnaldo, an outcast within Brazilian culture, is regarded as the lost link between the 70s tropicalism and the 80s BRock movement. He has been in and out of sanitariums and tried to commit suicide. In 1974, he put out the album "Lóki?", and three years later he lined up the band Patrulha do Espaço, releasing albums in the 80s. From the mid-80s on, he also took on literature and painting. In 1995, Arnaldo signed up a deal with Virgin Brazil and released "Singin’ Alone". ~ AllBrazilianMusic
