All are qualifications that the BRAZILIAN band João Ninguém (JOHN DOE ) assumes voluntarialy. The disorientation of that if they strengthen for defining the sort the one that the group belongs does not disturb the musicians, who are proud in transiting uninjured for the territories of the rock, of the atonalism, of funk, of the samba, of the erudite experimentalism of century XX, of the jazz fusion, without never post flag in place some. One is about a work that sends to the oitentist paulistan vanguard of Arrigo Barnabé and the Group RUMO, that follows the structural tracings of the progressive rock, that steps on in the firm soil of grooves of black music, that it sprinkles, as a temper, folklorics rhythms and eletroacustics sounds. At the same time, it is music of all day, music of people, music of the trivial one. Daily the urban one is the raw material; the "JOhn Doe", the protagonist. The group started to call the attention in July 2003, during the Musicalango Festival - Music, Diversion and Art, carried through in the extinct Show Bar. All were white dresses, executing solid grooves in compasses of 7, 5 or 11, creating the ideal environment for baffling mise-en-scène of its three actor-singers - Melina, Vânia and Rochael, the "CAT", icon of the brasiliense artistic way since years 80. The three gave a hypnotic interpretation to an intensely phonetic musical text, with replets dialogues of onomatopeic, in a corporal performance so twisted how much to proper music. Of the first presentation, it was the good surprise of the election for the end together with other bands with well more time of road. The curiosity waked in the public who that way was. Since then, the red substituted the white, had changes of musicians, an intense process of assays and creation, that the sonorous result selected and made to grow the general curiosity. With this, the presence of the JOÃO NINGUÉM more started to be each time sensible, to the measure that if expanded for some of the most important palcos of the city: of the Department of Music of the University of Brasilia (UnB) to the UK Brazil Pub; of the SESC (504 South) to the "Festival Porão do Rock"; of greats saraus of Cristina Robert to the New opening of Mostra Trends, in the Room Plinio Marcos of the Funarte. Currently, after the excellent receptivity of the Album by the critical and the public, the flock prepares all for a series of presentations in the country. ABAIXO DA FOTO RELEASE EM PORTUGUES ______FOTO by Patrick GrosnerO grupo começou a chamar a atenção em julho de 2003, durante o Festival Musicalango Música, Diversão e Arte, realizado no extinto Show Bar. Todos estavam vestidos de branco, executando sólidos grooves em compassos de 7, 5 ou 11, criando o ambiente ideal para a desconcertante mise-en-scène de seus três atores-cantores Melina, Vânia e Rochael, o Gato, figura marcante do meio artÃstico brasiliense desde os anos 80. Os três davam uma interpretação hipnótica a um texto musical intensamente fonético, com diálogos repletos de onomatopéias, em uma atuação corporal tão retorcida quanto à própria música. Da primeira apresentação, ficou a surpresa boa da seleção para a final junto com outras bandas com bem mais tempo de estrada. E a curiosidade despertada no público que por ali esteve. Desde então, o vermelho substituiu o branco, houve mudanças de músicos, um processo intenso de ensaios e criação, que apurou o resultado sonoro e fez crescer a curiosidade geral. Com isso, a presença do João Ninguém passou a ser cada vez mais sentida, à medida que se expandia para alguns dos mais importantes palcos da cidade: do Departamento de Música da Universidade de BrasÃlia (UnB) ao UK Brasil Pub; do SESC (504 Sul) ao Festival Porão do Rock; dos célebres saraus de Cristina Roberto à abertura da Mostra Novas Tendências, na Sala PlÃnio Marcos da Funarte.
