About Me

Recent mini album - download only - http://www.net-lab.co.uk
Net-Lab’s 24th release, ’Five Themes for Future Reference’ is a collection of five previously released but rarely available Illuminati tracks recorded between the years 2001 - 2003 and now made available again; remixed, remastered and encoded to 320kbps.
First launched in June 2006, Net-Lab is a collaborative project run by members of InspireBox Media. The label also features work by an array of artists that you may recognise as already having releases on labels including Wrong Music, Adadaat, Sublight and Planet Mu.

I’m Dave Clarkson, a Manchester (UK) based musician who records and occasionally plays live under the name Illuminati. My music under the name Illuminati has been in existence since January 2000.
Prior to Illuminati, I was involved in playing keyboards, synths and beating metal with experimental trio ’Away with The Mixer’ (1983-85), playing drums and twisting analog synth sounds with ’The Beat Thing’ (1985), drumming briefly for proto Boo Radleys ’The 4th Man’ (1987) and jazz ensemble ’The Earl Grey Quartet’ (1986-87), drumming and percussion for African band ’Odudua’ (1987-89), and drumming and making a noise with the space jazz eight piece ensemble ’Whitecube’ (1996-2000).
