Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in August 1986 and raised in a suburb of Vancouver, Canada, Tiffany’s vocal talent was apparent very early in her development. The story of Tiffany Desrosiers’ career was set in motion at the tender age of nine when her grandmother encouraged her to pursue formal vocal training. Soon Tiffany also became involved in various forms of dance and over the next several years, she found herself involved in film and television. Despite Tiffany’s love for both dance and acting, music soon became her passion.
Singer/songwriter Tiffany Desrosiers has been performing publicly since the age of nine. In July 2006, Tiffany received 1st Runner-up at the David Foster 2006 Star Search in the Victoria, BC region for her performance of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah. Contest judge Jaymes Foster, David Foster’s youngest sister, was impressed by Tiffany’s “tremendous voice†as well as her ability to “work the stage and connect with her audience.†Her success in the David Foster Star Search led to an impromptu invitation to sing the duet The Prayer for world-renowned music producer David Foster at the Victoria Independent Film Festival in February 2007.
Tiffany spent the past summer working with multi-platinum producer Damon Elliott (Pink, Beyonce, Jessica Simpson). While in Los Angeles this summer, Tiffany was invited to perform as one of the opening acts for Ben Harper and Jackson Browne at a benefit for the Boarding House Mentors. In addition, she was asked to perform for the opening night of the Seth Riggs vocal camp. Tiffany has also performed as a guest vocalist with Destino, The Canadian Tenors, and on a separate occasion with Destino performer Leon Leontaridis. She is often a guest performer at various fundraising and charity events.
Tiffany has the rare talent to cross over and sing both classical and contemporary styles, and has performed in French, German, Italian, Latin, and Spanish. Tiffany has consistently received numerous musical accolades and scholarships. Her musical career hit a high note in June 2007 when she won the National Voice Category at the British Columbia Provincials, and later went on to represent British Columbia at the National Music Festival in Moncton, NB in August 2007.
Tiffany is currently working towards her debut album.
