Welcome! My name is Laura Glatfelter.I grew up in a world of music. Born in West Chester, PA, I began an interest in music at a very young age. At age 4, my mother, who is a music teacher, taught me how to play the piano. Shortly after, I played in my first recital. I played other instruments growing up like the Violin and Flute, still playing piano all the while. During High School, I discovered a passion for Vocal Literature and Singing. Having never taken a voice lesson, my Choir director convinced me to audition for District Chorus in my Junior year. I, nervously, did and ended up going on to Regional Choir, which convinced me that I had more talent in Singing then I'd previously realized. From that point on, I planned to attend college as a Vocal Music Education major, but ended up changing my major to Vocal Performance in my Senior year. May 3rd, I graduated with my degree in Vocal Performance and am looking forward to a bright and musical future! In the past six months I've been working on movie scores with Lydia L Ashton, a talented Composer for Film/TV/websites. More information about these projects is in my blog. I am also working for a studio in Tulsa where I teach Voice. Please contact me if you are interested in voice lessons.
