Mankind's Audio Development (M.A.D. for short) is a side project of Play Dead developed by Rob Hickson (vocals) and Pete Waddleton (bass). This project was meant to have multiple singles, but only one was produced in 1984 with Criminal Damage Records at Blackwing Studios. The only two songs recorded by Mankind's Audio Development were "Craving" and "Sunfeast." The project stopped when Play Dead stopped in January of 1986.
