MMF is an absolutely amazing place to be! Jeanius - she is a legend & really lovely, also, lots of fun to be around! I love this place & hope to come back soon. Mollie =]

Hi Jean Thanks for a great day. The pupils were shattered when we got back, but all had an interesting day. Thanks for treating them like people and not kids, it makes so much difference. They were able to gain a lot of useful information both for their course work and for those who want to take their music further. Thanks to Nick for his work and answering the pupils questions so well and to Steve for lunch, which was popular. (Tennyson High School)

Hi Jean, just to say thanks for such a nice place to stay, ESPECIALLY THE CABIN!!!.....I will definitely be back as I am often at shows or trials in your area......and I would rather know that I am going to a really safe place for my dogs, and then travel on a bit in the car.....than risk camping somewhere unsafe nearer the show......... I will definitely recommend you to the Club. (Happy camper)

Hi diary fans, loads to report.Firstly,a fantastic SMEDLEY reunion. Obviously, the location had to be kept hush-hush prior to the event, but I can now confirm the return of the early nineties indie heroes took place in the village of Metheringham,Lincs. Thanks go out to the owner of The Metheringham Music Factory,Jeanius,a lady who loves the smell of a man's sweat.

Unperturbed we went ahead as a three piece & we had a great weekend. The MMF is a great place & really in the middle of nowhere, down a farm track that goes on for such a long way that you really think that it surely can't be down "there", but it is.Jean, who runs the place is a great host & the MMF has a couple of great sound-proofed rooms. The area is very peaceful & is certainly recommended if you are looking for a place to rehearse in that part of the world. YAK

We stayed in an on-site van. Powered sites are at the rear of the farm buildings. Power and water, although a long power cable may be needed to some sites. The toilet block is a single unit, quite clean and spacious. The farm lets sound-proofed rooms for band practice but this was not bothersome at all and stops before 'bedtime' anyway. There are some lovely walks along the banks and up the road. The owner sat with us in the morning and had a cuppa, very chatty and lovely lady who'd do anything to make your stay comfortable. We loved the peace and quiet of the small farm, which is about 2 miles from town. (Last minute booking)

I'd like to meet:
