+ Core Of Nation are currently recording their debut album for release on Rocksector this Summer. The release (entitled Machine World) will be supported by a double-headlining UK tour in September with Fury UK , taking in Manchester, London, Exeter, Doncaster & several more locations.

+ Toxic are continuing to record their 2nd album entitled "Fear", which is expected for release on Rocksector in August/September 2008. The band is planning to tour the UK in support of the album in October, taking in locations across the country. Support for at least some of the dates will come from Killheathen .

+ Fury UK are currently taking a short break from touring, having completed the dates which promoted the successful release of their "Salvation" CD single/ep. That tour included well-received shows at Leeds University & the Monsters Of Mosh Festival, the latter supporting Breed 77 & Blaze Bayley. The Manchester-based trio has a small number of regional dates during April-to-July before playing 2 significant festival dates - the Bull Dog Bash in August & the Rock Of Ages Fest in September. Then a full Uk tour is planned for September, with Swedish metallers Core Of Nation

+ Stuart Smith has recently put Heaven & Earth on hold temporarily while he pursues another opportunity. The band's plans to tour UK & Europe are therefore on ice. It's planned eventually to complete the recording of a brand new Heaven & Earth album & then bring that to UK & Europe. We'll announce details of the new project as soon as we're able.

Movies:

Lord of The Rings 1,2 & 3. The Thing. Still Crazy. The Crow. Pointbreak. Roadhouse. Back To The Future. Terminator. Predator. Aliens. Stargate. Rockstar. Spinal Tap.

Television:

Normally hate the damn thing, rather put a CD on! However, there are 1 or 2 programmes I do watch...Red Dwarf (generally on DVD now), Doctor Who (the latest 2 series are quality), some football (usually Man. Utd games).

Books:

Lord of the Rings. The Transformed Mind, transcripts of Buddhist lectures by the Dalai Lama. The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari by Robin Sharma. All a bit "left-field" but we all have a cross to bear. The Hobbit. Lord of the Rings. I also read any decent autobiographies / biographies of bands/musicians e.g. Phil Lynott, Led Zep, Black Sabbath.

Heroes:

Rush....I'm a fan though-and-through, have been since aged 15 & always will be. I'd seen 1 or 2 bands before Rush but they opened my eyes to what rock shows were all about. I've seen them play around 12/13 times over the years & saw them during their long-awaited visit to UK in 2004 - an awesome performance as it always was in previous years.
