1i5 Studios is a graphic arts Collective comprised of illustrators, designers and photographers, who are working to create a platform for new talent. Over the past three years 1i5 Studios has been involved in many events that have created a buzz in the Toronto art scene, two of which have been named The best illustration shows in the past five years. 1i5 Studios was established in 2002 as a self promotion tool with an interest in affiliation with outside artists to support new talent.An international tour to expose 1i5 Studios and 10 featured artists will continue into the year 2006. The tour entitled T.O.P (Toronto Ontario Project) commenced August 19, 2005 at Spin Gallery in Toronto, Ontario. The show was successful in generating awareness to the 400 people that attended the event. The tour will continue May 19, 2006 in Montreal, Quebec where 1i5 Studios will launch the theme Life Styles. Following the Montreal show the tour will host its last show in Manhattan, New York during the month of November. The tour will be directed towards a broad audience in order to reach all demographics within the art community.
