My Interests

Music, Recording, Fixed Gear Bikes

I'd like to meet:

Rich Costey... currently my favorite producer/engineer/mixer

Music:

Stuff in odd meters is always best! The Mars Volta, Bjork, Arto Lyndsey, Gavin Castleton, The Daze, Mahavishnu Orchestra, King Crimson, Incubus, Muse, Radiohead, Johnny Classic and the Classic Johns, Beck, Gruvis Malt, One Drop... that's just for starters.

Movies:

The Constant Gardener... probably the best movie last year, and it got no recognition.

Television:

I waste way too much time with it. But unfortunately I can't seem to wait and see what Jack Bauer will do next. Is he going to stop the terrorists this time???

Books:

"Here, There and Everywhere. My Life Recording the Music of the Beatles" Really interesting book if you're a Beatles fan, or young engineer/producer. Lot's of insight from the very man who did it all!

"The Rest is Noise, Listening to the 20th Century" - cool history of 20th century music and how it tied to the social and political climates they were created in. By the music writer for the New Yorker Magazine, Alex Ross.
