...there are few things as fetching as a bruised ego on a beautiful angel.

About Me

I am one witty Motherf@*!1R! When (and if) I die, I want to die empty. I'm not trying to save any life up. Heaven is HERE! Not some place that you go when you die. So, let's get to it. I have no sacred cows:which makes me fun to be around for some and a bit overwhelming for others. I live in the now while planning for the future. I enjoy reading, writhing (oops, Freudian slip) that would be writing, good conversations, physical activities, and people watching. Although, I have a good sense of humor, I am in no way shallow. It's strange to have to clarify that, but I have encountered those who think that a smile denotes a lack of awareness. I am no tortured soul and try to steer clear of those who are. I love to travel and learn. Currently teaching myself electric bass and planning to get certified as a scuba diver this year. I could go on since I'm most educated on myself...however, I'll save that for a true conversation. Caio.

My Interests

Anything physical...basketball, tennis (I'm not good), skydiving, scuba diving, pool, and bowling. I love movies, travelling, reading, music, wild butt-naked sex with wild butt-naked women. Hidden bars and 420. I like to camp, but I have no gear. Enjoy rock climbing. Again I have no gear, but it's fun. Joshua Tree rocks for that if anyone has never climbed.

I'd like to meet:

Someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously and has a library card that they use occasionally. A curious mind that likes to have and create fun.

Music:

The list is too long, but here's a quick smattering. Jazz:from Armstrong to David Murray. Blues:Robert Johnson, Sonny Terry, Brownie Mcgee (if they're blind and black, odds are I'd like them), Rock: Jimi Hendrix, Pearl (Joplin), Led Zeppelin, and anyone in their musical bloodline. Soul: Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Al Green, D'Angelo, India Arie, Jill Scott. R&B: Stevie Wonder, Earth,Wind, and Fire, Isley Brothers, Brand New Heavies. Funk: Parliament/Funkedelic, Lakeside, Slave, Bar-Kays. Hip Hop: Jay-Z, Nas, Outkast, KRS1, Tupac, Biggie, Eminem, Missy Elliott. The guy who crosses all genres: Prince. I could go on, but you get the idea.

Movies:

City of God, The Matrix, Pulp Fiction, The Usual Suspects, Thing To Do In Denver When You're Dead, Aliens, Monster, Requiem For A Dream, The Cook, the Thief, the Wife, and His Lover, Bob Roberts, Hysterical Blindness, Far From Heaven, anything Kurasawa.

Television:

South Park, The Simpsons, Samari Jack, King of The Hill, The Family Guy, All In The Family, Barney Miller, 24, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Letterman. And now, my new favorite HEROES.

Books:

The Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged, Beloved, Naked, Hyperspace, A People's History of the United States.

Heroes:

Malcolm X, Zora Neale Hurston, my mom.

No Niggas in the house

I've been thinking about it and after much consideration I've decided to stop using the word "nigga". Yeah... I'm just going to say Gorilla.

Metaphors

Today, while driving, I saw a guy with Down's Syndrome carrying a large American flag. What a perfect metaphor for how we are seen by the rest of the world.I'm going to hell.

Invaluable Lies

Let me start off by saying that you don't have to look very far to find my flaws. I'm stubborn, opinionated, blunt, passive-aggresive (when provoked), and have over-pronated feet. However, I am 150 p...

Condescending to the Handicapped

Today while enjoying a cup of java, an older woman using a walker strolled in with a friend. Her walker was great. It had 4 wheels, a seat, and hand breaks. To put it mildly, it was a Cadillac! Sh...
