Up and coming singer/songwriter, Brienne Moore, is making a good head-way for a long-lasting career in the music industry. After independently finishing her self-titled CD in 2007, which Brienne diligently wrote all the music and lyrics for the album, the buzz is already being created on her captivating melodies and honest lyrics.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Brienne started her musical career early. At age 3, she began performing Top 40 pop songs for family and friends. Realizing her talent wasn’t just a childish dream, she progressed to singing in her church and school choirs where she was able to hone and embrace her gift.
She attended the only performing arts high school in Las Vegas which produced great acts like 702 and Neyo. She even got a chance to sing in a choir that backed Barbara Streisand at her 1999 New Year’s Eve show at the MGM Grand!
After graduating high school, Brienne moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams in music. Picking up the guitar and writing songs which all were self-taught, Brienne’s songwriting flourished. This opened the door to work with many well-renowned producers and songwriters in the Los Angeles area. Since then she has performed at local venues from The Temple Bar, to The Viper Room, BB Kings, and Tangier, to name a few, as a featured performer.
Soon after finishing her latest CD, ASCAP listened to her music and Brienne was selected to attend the Lester Sill workshop. She and the other 13 songwriters, who were picked out of a few hundred submissions, were encouraged and mentored by music professionals in the industry, including legendary producer/singer/songwriter Linda Perry!
