WELCOME!!

Located in the heart of Leicester, the multi award winning venue, The Musician is the UKs premier roots music venue. Now comfortably holding 220 people since a major refurbishment in early 2005, the venue features live music at least six nights a week, has a selection of fine ales and prides itself on its friendly atmosphere. Since opening in 2000, The Musician has built its reputation on booking only the very best in home grown and international folk, blues, rock, roots and Americana talent.

Previous high profile artists to grace our stage include JAMES MORRISON, RYAN ADAMS and OCEAN COLOUR SCENE. The Musician also provides a stage and is an integral part of Leicester’s award winning festival SUMMER SUNDAE held annually at De Montfort Hall.This year The Musician is also involved heavily in the third annual LEICESTER CITY BLUES FESTIVAL, taking place over three days at De Montfort Hall from FRIDAY MAY 30th to SUNDAY JUNE 1st.
