About Me

Born in Cambridge, but relocating to Leicester in '99, Andy began playing live in 2002, and in 2004 released his debut cd "Strawberry Girl" on the independent Oblong label, gaining many friends and critical response to such songs as "Fragile", "Caroline", "Rolling Rock" and Gravity". In the summer of 2006 the follow-up to "Strawberry Girl", entitled "Astrovertigo" was released on the Musician Records label to much acclaim; work is already underway on the follow-up...Whilst mainly playing in the Leicester area so far Andy has already appeared at various venues in York, Northampton, Sheffield, Derby, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Cambridge and Hitchin, and has opened for many artists including Boo Hewerdine, Clive Gregson, Steve Tilston, Foy Vance, Darden Smith, Rod Picott, Ashley Hutchings, Sally Barker, Vikki Clayton, Martin Stephenson, Kim Richey, Bryter Layter, Nizlopi, Steve Tilston, Jez Lowe and Loscoe State Opera.Andy's melodic songcraft and soulful performances are making many sit up and take notice, and with two albums released and another in the pipeline, there's never been a better time to check out Andy's music. Welcome!
