Orange Free State was conceptualized in 2006 as an antidote to boredom, a medium for self expression, a pop band and a cure for cancer. Inspiration comes from unrequited love, long distance relationships, wide open landscapes, planets, outer space,dutch architecture, flowers, the weather and regrettable late nights. The band aim to produce higly polished, radio-friendly pop nuggets to which everyone regardless of their race, sex, occupation, credit limit or body odour could safely carry on with their meaningless daily existence. At the moment, the band has just completed proper recording (many thanx to iseekmusic) of their first batch of songs to be released as "horizon stretch forever ep".
