MyGen Profile Generator -ENG- The MOTAM project was born in 2003 when Zappa, Los and Joe met at high school and decided to play together some thrash metal stuff. They started with some covers from famous thrash bands such as Sodom, Stormtroopers Of Death, Sepultura and others. It wasn't simple to find a singer in a small town where no one cared about this type of music. Finally Simo (Messiah, ex Parental Advisory voice) joined the band and so they remained until september 2005 when Den joined as second guitar. After years playing together MotaM music can be simply described: fast thrash/hardcore metal pills with ironical lyrics in the vein of the best thrash/crossover tradition! The Death Squad keyword is FUN! The gigs started quite late for the band also because half of the band had been underage for the first 2 years with all the problems due to that! With the recording of their first demo "Lounge Style Mattanza", the Death Squad (currently unsigned) hopes to find new gigs and fans. In march 2008 Den leaves the band for personal reasons. Despite that, the Death Squd goes on!!! Si cominciò con cover di gruppi capostipiti del genere come Sodom, Stormtroopers Of Death, Sepultura e altri. Non fu facile trovare un cantante in un paesino dove a nessuno importava di un certo genere di musica. Infine trovarono Simo (aka Messiah, ex voce dei Parental Advisory) che si unì al gruppo. Questa formazione riamse tale fino al 2005 quando entrò Den alla seconda chitarra. Dopo anni passati a suonare insieme la musica dei motam può essere descritta come un thrash metal veloce e bastardo con qualche inserto HC e testi ironici o comunque poco seri nella miglior tradizione crossover/thrash. La parola d'ordine della Death Squad è DIVERTIMENTO! I concerti iniziarono tardi anche perchè per i primi 2 anni metà del gruppo era minorenne e poco incline alla parte organizzativa di una band. Con la registrazione del primo demo Lounge Style Mattanza la Death Squad spera di trovare nuovi fans e nuovi gruppi con cui suonare. Nel marzo 2008 Den abbandona il gruppo per cause personali. Nonostante ciò il gruppo va avanti.
