About Me

My name is John Swardson, I'm a singer-songwriter. I play the guitar and write about alot of things, those things usually end up being on the edges of where we live. My band is called Get Gone. I have two records out; Ablaze, my debut, was released in April of 2006 and Silver Dust was just released in June. I write the songs , sing'em and play the guitar. The rest, which is a whole hell of alot, is in the hands of a few crucial people; Chris Coyne plays the bass and co-produces/engineers, Lane 'Magic' Soderberg plays guitar, bass, and sings back-up, Joel Habedank is the drummer, and Eliza Blue plays the violin and sings on Silver Dust. I believe in 2008, October baseball, Bruce Springsteen, and the 4th of July. Thanks for stopping by.JohnSILVER DUST IS NOW AVAILABLE ON CD BABY.COM Ablaze is available on itunes and can also be purchased online at:http://cdbaby.com/cd/swardson...and both are usually in my jacket pocket.
