The Band still known as Proof

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR PROOF?

About Me

PROOF slipped out of the shadows from its previous incarnations of Bananafish & Stans Bike, with the release of their debut CD, "Unclean". The songs received rave reviews, with Unclean "possessing a mid-section from heaven that carries you up in the air and half way round the world." NME. It received airplay on Radio One & local radio stations, especially the song "The Anglophiles". It allowed the band to develop a strong & loyal following at gigs they played around Greater Manchester. It wasn't until the release of "Strawberry Skin" that things started to happen for the band. The CD was hailed as a triumph and PROOF as being one of Manchester's best kept secrets. The band had built up a reputation for being one of the best live bands on the gig circuit & their songs for being catchy melody filled explosions, which you would find yourself whistling on the way home. After a bad 2005, where the band was hit by personal tragedies & injuries, they are back. Hoping to make 2006 their year & carry on from where they left off. Are you looking for PROOF? Well they are here, catch them before everyone else does.
