Room 237 is the brainchild of three friends who have so far evaded warrants of musical mundanity. Our preferred musical tastes may differ but are brought together by a love of music that has or is pushing boundaries. The main ethos, apart from bringing people we love to Leeds , involved is to provide non-profit gigs that showcase impressive local, national and acts from abroad. Our main aim is to see good bands and complement the amazing diy and underground events put on by the promoters in Leeds that we respect.**************************************************** ************ The electronica side of things are run by Marcus who has been playing out drum & bass, electronica, ambient and a hint of (good) hip hop music for pretty much his whole life. With the underlying reason to promote music to make you think he aims to select acts that highlight the importance of forward thinking audio that tests the audience from all musical backgrounds.
