My Interests

Music ::: Here are my bands: _______ I have joined David Nefesh (a fellow singersongwriter) in his band playing guitars and other strings. The band has decided to call itself the ASTRONAUTS of LOVE. Included are singersongwriter Marilyn Driggs (on guitar and violin) along with Jef Reynolds on bass, singing and octave mandolin. Don Gulish on drums and percussion. http://www.davidnefesh.com/news.html ------- My band Plum Street is an original music songwriters project that is garage rocky in a 1960s creative spirit. We hardly ever play out, but we can rock out and bring some fun everywhere we play. http://www.plumstreetmusic.com/pages/1/index.htm ----- Acoustakimbo band with Brigitte Knudson, Peggy King Ahmed, Dave Marchaccio and Ron Ellman is somewhat dormant as is Stella Stormer with Maggie McCabe, Larry Everhart, Stu Tucker and Frank Greenhalgh. Stella Stormer is a old school country western band with honky tonk roots. --------______ Another project is the Moonsqualler String Band. Matthew Greenia on Guitars, Nancy Greenia on Mandolin, Art Mellos on perc & sound effect, Frank Greenhaigh on bull fiddle & I play guitar, dobro, fiddle, banjo AND WE ALL SING________ We do music of Jimmy Rodgers, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Louvin Brothers, R Crumb, Charlie Pool, the Carter Family and other rather obscure songs of that ilk and era. Moonsqualler is a sub-set of the larger Dont Look Now Jugband. Dont Look Now Jugband have been performing in the Detroit area since the mid 70s or so . . . .
