Pam Lawhorne, a serial entrepreneur, small business expert and creative marketing consultant, provides advice, guidance, and encouragement to aspiring CEO's around the nation in her popular seminars and publications. She is the Chief Empowerment Officer of Empower U, Incorporated, a training and consulting firm that specializes in interactive workshops, seminars and coaching programs.

Pam and husband Chris have two children and they reside outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. Along with her husband, they have launched and now own several companies which include a real estate investment firm, a mortgage brokerage, a real estate sales firm, a marketing company and a training and consulting firm. This year Pam and her husband launched their most ambitious, and heart felt venture their non-profit organization The Lawhorne Foundation. The Lawhorne Foundation will provide mentoring and training on entrepreneurship education, financial literacy, and leadership development to youth and women. This foundation is near and dear to Pam’s heart because it will serve a group of individuals who she feels are often over looked but need the assistance to help them improve their lives.
Pam came from humble beginnings and having no formal education, she knows first hand how difficult life can be when you do not have the right tools. She considers herself very fortunate because through books, classes, life experience and training programs she was able to break herself free from the cycle of poverty. She also knows the grim reality of what her life would be like had she not pursued some form of education which is why her mission, and her passion is to help empower others so that they too can have the opportunity to live their lives at full potential.
Despite all of the obstacles that she has overcome, Pam continues to push forward and strive to create a better life for herself and for others. She is a true visionary with a passion to make a real difference in people's life. Her life and personal struggles is a true testimonial for her uncanny ability to address issues from a perspective others cannot.
