I am a visionary, entrepreneur and a teacher. I am always moving, learning, experimenting, trying, failing and succeeding. One thing that people should know about me is that I am sincerely grateful to God for life and purpose and I enjoy living. I am blessed and usually feel like the most fortunate man in the world!
I am the Founder and CEO of Houston, TX based First Capital Commercial Finance and McCray Capital Partners.
First Capital is a commercial mortgage banking and brokerage firm that has helped its clients leverage millions of dollars in financing for their real estate acquisitions, developments and investments over the years.
McCray Capital Partners(MCP) is a real estate opportunity fund headquartered in Houston, Texas. It specializes in structuring short-term private mortgage financing to the professional real estate investor, builder, developer and small business owner for the acquisition, construction and renovation of land, lots, commercial and residential properties throughout North America.

People who exemplify excellence in their fields such as Donald Trump, Sade, General Colin Powell, Tony Robbins, Tiger Woods, Robert Kiyosaki, Dave Ramsey, Tim Duncan, Sade, David Robinson, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, Zig Ziglar, Michael Jordan and Texas Football Coach Mack Brown (someone please tell him for me).

Music:

Mostly East Coast and Old Skool Hip Hop with some other great stuff mixed in like De La Soul, Chuck D (The Rhyme Animal) & Public Enemy, Sade, Mos Def, A Tribe Called Quest, MF DOOM, Miri Ben-Ari, Bob Marley, Tito Puente, Talib Kweli, Jean Grae (crazy flow but needs to clean up the lyrics a lot), Pharoah Monch, Louis Armstrong and Lupe Fiasco. To the regret of my family, I will also pop in some Johnny Cash or Paul Simon every now and then. Those guys are/were musical geniuses.

Movies:

These are probably my favorite movies of all time: Blazing Saddles, The Shawshank Redemption, Do the Right Thing, The Matrix, Cool Hand Luke, It's a Wonderful Life, Coming to America, Gattaca and There's Something About Mary. If you haven't seen Gattaca, what are you waiting for? It will inspire you to press on!

Television:

A lot of my favorite shows are gone forever: The Sopranos, Deep Space Nine. Firefly/Serenity. Right now, I am still watching Battlestar Galactica, 30 Rock and Scrubs. I am looking forward to the new season of Heroes.

Books:
