Movies:

No sad endings unless part of a series. I like SciFi, Fantasy,comedy,mystery,adventure, historic (true or not). No horror or slasher movies.

Books:

I like listening to audiobooks on my iPod because it makes things like housework, driving, or yardwork more fun. I like murder mysteries best. John Grisham, Elizabeth Peters, Dan Brown, David Baldacci, Dean Koontz, PD James, Jonathan Kellerman, Michael Crichton, Robin Cook, JK Rowling, James Patterson, Anne Perry, Agatha Christie, Michael Connely, Stephen King (but not so much anymore), Stephen R.
