Mix it 'til it bleeds.

About Me

I record and mix music for a living. Not my own music, that is. Other people's music. I absolutely love my job and though the pay is shite and the days are long, I still wouldn't change it for anything. I get a huge kick for working on great music with great and talented people and getting respect from them. Gee. It's a fantastic job.

I've worked with such artists as Vesa-Matti Loiri, Pelle Miljoona, Anna Eriksson, Kaija Karkinen & Ile Kallio, Sami Saari, Hannu Pikkarainen, Marita Taavitsainen, Adiemus Singers w/ Kiri Te Kanawa, Olavi Uusivirta, Vuk, Pooma, Lotta, Janna, Iconcrash, Soma, Viola, Brightboy, Stalingrad Cowgirls, Autopilot, Ballet, Inis, Dawn Delayed, Siniaalto, Echo Is Your Love, Pasilian Savut, Fun, Kannaste-Ojajrvi Quartet, Lasse Lindgren, Lang-Luolajan-Mikkola, Kelly Joe Phelps (US), Mellowtrons/Meat Beat Manifesto (UK), Decopachi (GER), Francesca Lee (USA), The Stands (UK), The Zutons (UK), The Bandits (UK), One Man Down (UK) and more...

Some of the producers I've worked with include: Hannu Pikkarainen, Tomi Malm, Aki Haarala, Tuomo Prättälä, Antti Hynninen, Pekka Laine, Okko Laru, Tom Nyman, Tommi Lindell, Karl Jenkins, Riku Niemi, Frank Tikka, Sipe Santapukki, Samuli Laiho, Antti Lehtinen, Erkka Korhonen, Vesa-Matti Mattson and more

The record labels I've worked for include: Warner Music Finland, Universal Music Finland, EMI Finland, Helsinki Music Company, Johanna Kustannus, Fullsteam Records, Texicalli/Jupiter, Next Big Thing, If Society, Marsu on paras, Musik! Finland, Edel Records, Kiima-levyt, Verdura records and more

Apart from that, I like quiet life, spending a lot of time at home with my special lady, talking absolute bollocks with a French accent to make her giggle. I love listening to music (surprise surprise), watching movies and great British comedy series, reading books, wasting time on Internet forums, building little electronics projects (like guitar pedals), cooking (though I never have the time) and so forth... I also enjoy the occasional pint of lager (or eight) in good company... I also love spending time in the countryside... Would like to travel more in general, though I got my share of airplanes while living in the UK for four years.

Oh no, winter's here again.

Well, part two of my bi-annual blog. We finally have finished building the fucking studio. It took four times longer than predicted and cost twice the money. OTOH, it's about 200 000 times nicer than...
