[2008-07-15-We're Back!!!
We have just returned from a 3 weeks break/vaccation, the first one since Chrsitmas, oh my god we earned that one. Right now we are picking up we're we left and we will continue doing press for Fist & Excuses until late August.
During this time Fredrik and Anton will be finishing up a lot of new songs. And I will spend a lot of my time writing bass stuff for these songs, and by late August we will meet up and arrange all our ideas into actual songs.
We're going into the studio in early October to record a new single/EP, but before that we will record a couple of acoustic/piano versions of the Fist & Excuses songs, which we will release on my space only. Stay tuned for that.

Energetic rock music with stadium dynamics and heavy pop melodies are combined with a dark mood of politically lyrics.
After spending the last ten years releasing albums and doing international tours, three long time friends decided it was time to quit their respective bands to start from scratch again. In early 2007 Alberta Fox was formed.
The band immediately started to compose, rehearse and record all their different ideas. During this time all doors were closed, everyone felt very strongly about not letting anyone hear the music until the Alberta sound was complete. This allowed the band to create music without input from anyone, which was something they hadn’t been able to do in a long time.
Six months later the band felt their vision of Alberta Fox was a reality and during one week of October they recorded their debut EP Fist & Excuses. Although Alberta Fox never made up any plans about being a die hard D.I.Y band, this release actually is just that. It was recorded and produced by the band and the mixing duties were handled by singer-guitar player Fredrik Andersson.
Fist & Excuses was released on April 28, 2008 via Mind Riot Records, a label that is own by the members of the band. All songs can now be streamed on the bands myspace site.
