About Me

An inviting, unique vocal delivery mixed with unforgettable melodies and a passionate lyrical presence meet so nicely on the commonground of artistic expression to form "wake up and dream", the debut EP of a promising young artist out of Florida, Ramez. A pleasant mixture of full-band productions and intimate one-take acoustic tracks make up this powerful, yet intimate collection.
The Egyptian-born artist spent three years traveling the world to find that unique creative output so desparately sought in our modern day. Limiting himself to one guitar and a voice for the sake of writing, and recording tracks whenever and wherever an opportunity revealed itself, this collection captures the urgency of being out of your element and the necesstiy to adapt to and overcome uncertaintly
A very passionate and spiritually reflective work, "wake up and dream" is a poetic, lyrical record that takes the listener through the extremes of the human character; man's indifference to his own, a search for the ever-elusive "home", and compassion are some of the powerful themes that bring the listener back again and again to find some new hidden treasures in this well-written record.

One Love at Jake and Mickeys

So, we had a great time playing last night and it was great seeing a lot of old familiar faces and getting to celebrate Nuckols turning the big one six. It feels like I was asleep for a few years and...
