I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships and Friends

About Me

I'm a 28-year-old workaholic, fun-loving, naughty humoured Australian journo in the entertainment biz. Whilst I live in a house on the beach of Sydney's northern suburbs, work takes me all sorts of wacky places every couple of weeks and Los Angeles has become essentially a second home. One day I'll move there, but with visas being as tight as they are it'll be a while off.My life shifts frequently between quiet solitude to raucous adventures in far off lands involving friends, cocktails and usually some sort of indiscretion that I hopefully won't get charged with by Interpol in the coming years. My job is running a little website called Dark Horizons which I started as a hobby when I was bored in my first year of University. Ten years on and its become a business and pays my wages, who'd have thought huh.To me life's life, enjoy it. Humour can, and should, be found in anything - especially one's self. I'm always open to trying pretty much anything whether it be some crazy first go at a death sport to offering a comforting presence to helping a friend who simply needs someone to open up to.Personality wise I've been nicknamed 'the vulgar Australian' due to my lack of tact when it comes to discussing things of the NC-17 variety. I'm a gay guy but so straight acting that everyone thinks I'm hetero, that's at least until I open my mouth and the word 'cock' comes out every other sentence. After that, they quickly change their mind. I believe in being upfront and honest, and I expect people to be the same to me. If not, I say goodbye as there's a lot better things to do in life.

I'd like to meet:

I'm out to meet honest, easy going nice people who don't mind making friends with someone of a similar personality persuasion. Warm, genuine, smart people who're able to laugh at themselves and don't take anything to seriously. Gay, straight, in between, don't matter to me - the only people I don't get on with are liars and egotists, makes me wonder why in the hell I decided to work in Hollywood.Whilst I'm a night owl who can party on to dawn with the best of them, I'm kind of past the scene a little bit now. To me some of the best times of my life haven't been about going out to the hottest band or club, its been the quiet times spending hours on end over drinks chatting either one-on-one or as a group with friends both new and old. Swapping stories and revealing new information about each other, and all in all having a good time. People with a similarly relaxed perspective would be awesome to meet.Having an opinion about movies and TV shows is a definite must have. I love spending hours on end debating the merits of cinema and all that jazz, but god help me if you found anything in that Madonna film "Swept Away" even remotely good then stop reading right now.I've met a lot of people in my life and whilst I'm always open to meeting new ones, I only count a few as real friends. When you have me for one you've got someone who'll stand by you no matter what happens of where life takes you.
