About Me

Hi, I own L.A. Mead Limited Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I have been HAND CRAFTING custom rugs since 1992, and was honored to be voted carpet sculptor of the year by my peers multiple times at the International conferences held anually in Hawaii.I have seven kids, five step kids, a dog, two cats, and and my brain still has some cells left to create with!!!

My Interests

I LOVE hanging out in HAWAII!!!! Laughing my ass off underwater body surfing, while the wave beats me to death and bashes me into the shore:P I love martial arts, snow skiing, water skiing, riding and drag racing motorcycles, playing guitar and recording my own music, and listening to the wonderful sound of silence!
Using a (14 lb.)1995 Gibson Les Paul Custom,that carries it's weight in BAD ASS PRO-POWER TONE! A Flaming green Ibanez S470FM(greased lighting) EPI HD accoustic, EPI bass,Roland Juno G and the AMAZING Digitech GNX4.
I have way too many interests to list as I am a soul that can't sit still for long.
