Oxjam is Oxfam's, most ambitious music event ever.We're asking musicians, promoters - in fact, everyone - to put on all kinds of music events during October 2007 to raise money for Oxfam. And we need your help to make it happen!
Oxfam is looking for talented, inspiring and outgoing music-lovers to become volunteer Music Event Organisers for Oxjam 2007. The Oxjam team will give you all the support you need, with great materials and online help too.
Volunteers will be expected to raise between £750 and £1000 by setting up events in their area. In return, they get training in events organisation, 1:1 support, materials, and a reference from Oxfam.If you've got what it takes to organise Oxjam events, whether your passion is for classical music or club nights; folk, funk or punk, we'd love to hear from you.You'll gain valuable experience, meet new people, get involved with your local music scene and have a great time while helping to raise loads of money and learning more about Oxfam's work to end poverty.We've 1000 places, each offering all the training and support you need-but 1,000 is our limit-so get your application forms in now because it's first come first served!Fill in the form here
