About Me

I've been playing the guitar on and off for over 30 years (more off than on). I recently became involved with playing in bands again after being musically inactive for several years. I spent a short time playing with The Yanks (Blues/Southern Rock) and played guitar with Raging Angel(Hard Rock/Metal).
I'm now playing bass with "Motorbreath" (The Northwest's Premier Metallica Tribute).
Myself and some other like minded musicians are now in the beginning stages of putting together a Heavy "Progressive/Death Metal" style band that will have elements of many genres and a more positive message. More details will be announced when that comes together.
As far as me personally, I've definitely become very cynical as I've gotten older, just due to normal life experiences. But for the most part I'll give just about anyone the benefit of the doubt, but that's just a one time deal.

My Interests

-MUSIC IN GENERAL
-PLAYING THE GUITAR
-BOXING (I was actively fighting until a back injury pretty much ended my "career" about 2 1/2 years ago)
-MIXED MARTIAL ARTS (Had I not been injured it would've been the next step in my fighting "career")
-COLLEGE FOOTBALL

I'd like to meet:

I've met most of my music heroes except for Zakk Wylde and Angus Young.

As far as non-music related people go...

Former UFC Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin. Nobody trains as hard as he does. I might even go as far as to use the term "man-crush".

General Norman H Schwarzkopf and General Colin Powell, both of whom I had the honor of serving under during Desert Storm.

Circuit Court Judge/Boxing Referee legend (Let's Get It On!) Mills Lane, he refereed many of the greatest title fights in boxing history and you know that as a circuit court Judge he was a complete hardass.

The Rev Billy Graham, his dedication to his calling and the convictions he has while carrying it out are unparalleled.

The Reverend/Bishop TD Jakes for the same reasons, plus the guy is probably the greatest preacher I've ever heard.

Message to bands who want to add me as a friend:The people that I have on my "Friends" list are there for a reason. It's either because I enjoy their music (bands), or in the cases of individuals it's because there is something I find interesting about them ( musical tastes, etc), or they're actually my friends in "real life" (outside of Myspace). I don't add people because it's cool to have a zillion "friends". If you deem me acceptable and would like to add me, maybe drop me a short message saying "hi, I'm ____, I'd like to add you because..." Something like that would be kind of cool. And if you're a webcam girl or a link to some porn site, don't f-ing bother. I'm not here for that s*%#.

Books:

At this point I have no time to read. But when I do I like true crime stuff. I'm a Criminal Justice Major (on hold) so that stuff is the most interesting to me. Ann Rule is the best author in that genre as far as I'm concerned (The Stranger Beside Me, etc.). I like books about serial killers the most (John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy...) It just interests me to no end how someone can seem "normal" in most situations, but at the same time be so absolutely twisted.

Heroes:

My Father as opinionated and cynical as he is, he'd go out of his way to help anyone that needed it. And he makes the best fried egg and cheese sandwich on the planet.

There's too many throughout history for me to list all of them. A few include...
General George S. Patton, one of the greatest Commanders in Military history.
President John F Kennedy, back when the Democrats weren't a bunch of whiny liberal/socialist pussies, probably the last Democrat to actually have a set...

President Ronald Wilson Reagan, the greatest President in my lifetime, and the "Bonzo" movies are absolute classics!

Prime Minister Winston Churchill. One of the most intelligent world leaders in history. The anecdotes he was responsible for creating are legendary.
