80's metal head! I love it if it's got guitar shreddin', double kickin' drums, poundin' bass lines, and screamin' vocals!!! I'm glad the blazing solos are back, the 90's guitarists sucked!!!
I've been in a few bands;
"Short Bus" had Trevor on guitar, and myself on guitar and vocals, and my brother in law Jeff on drums. We didn't play out, but had a good time with '70s and '80s classic rock.
"80's Aftermath" with Jeff and myself now on bass and vocals. We found the man named DAX to play guitar. He told me what DAX stood for, but I could never pronounce it. We got a few songs under our belt and played a couple shows.
"Metal Recall" was born with the addition of a new singer Mark, we played a few shows around Portland. Kickin' out tunes from Judas Priest, Ozzy, Dokken, Ratt, AC/DC, and the list goes on.
"Deep Cuts" saw a new drummer, Mark, and the return of guitarist, Trevor. I went back to trading solos with Trevor on guitar, and we found a bass player, Jack. Singer Mark picked up the bass when Jack left. We basically played the B sides to the hits from the same bands as Metal Recall.
"Creeping Deth" was a mix of Metallica and Megadeth covers. Drummer Mark, and myself back on the bass. We found Tim and Michael at a concert in Portland, and when they said they were looking for a drummer and bassist to join their project, We had to jump! Unfortunately, we only got to play a few times before Mark told us he was moving.
"Motorbreath" is a full tribute to Metallica. (myspace.com/motorbreathband) Gunner (Kirk Hammett) and myself (James Hetfield) back on guitar. We found a bassist, Mark (Jason), and a drummer, Rich (Lars). We have the look and the sound of Metallica! Yes, with the live show fuckups. Just kidding. This band kicks ass!
