Hey people, my name is Joe Satriani. I'm a guitarist. The name of my band is just Joe Satriani. I've been playing guitar since i was 13 and then i started teaching at the age of 15. I've taught several great players but i few u might now are Steve Vai, Jeff Tyson, and Kirk Hammet. I was real inspired by Jimi Hendrix, i remember bein on the football team in high school and hearing about Jimi dying so i took my helmet on and went into the locker and confronted the coach and told him i was quiting and he just looked at me and said ok. I love playing infront of people, they really seem to like my music and that makes me feel really good, but my life is music i make a living off of it.
